This page contains links to all the language translations available to Tracktion. If you spot any errors in a particular translation you can correct them via the links below and Tracktion will automatically download and update to the correct version. If you have turned auto language update off from the "User Interface" settings page you can also manually check for updates there.

Adding a Translation

More technical users might want to add their own new languages... Obviously it's possible to just copy one of the existing .lang files and change all the content, but there's an easier way, using Google translate and the JUCE Introjucer:

First, you'll need to fire-up the Introjucer: http://www.juce.com/documentation/introjucer

You'll probably need to be a developer to get that running... but if you do, start its translation file utility, and hit the "Load existing translation file" button to load any of the existing Tracktion .lang files. It'll then auto-generate some text that can be passed to google translate to create a new auto-translated version in the language of your choice.

Once you have generated a translation file as described by the instructions, contact us to request your new page to the wiki. You must ensure the language content is wrapped in the following tags for it to be displayed correctly and recognised by Tracktion.

<pre id="translation" style="white-space:-moz-pre-wrap; white-space:-pre-wrap; white-space:-o-pre-wrap; white-space:pre-wrap; word-wrap:break-word;"></pre>

Technical Guideline
